NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) 2012

Dear Member,

Please find enclosed details of this year’s Annual General Meeting. Please come along if you want to contribute to this or just turn up to give us support. If you have an item of business to raise then please contact our Secretary, Edmund Hopkins, at least 7 days before to ensure it appears on the agenda.

The Friends group will celebrate 8 years of action in 2012 and this year will be more important than ever, with plenty of threats and opportunities. We will continue our campaigns to get better maintenance on the site and find new uses for the former bowling green. We will of course continue to do practical conservation work and hold events to bring people onto this wonderful place.

Can I remind you we meet once a month at BANCA, 312 Sneinton Dale, on the first Monday of the month at 7.00 pm. We are always glad to see new faces so do come along and hear what we’re up to, or join us for a work session or one of our regular guided walks.

A well supported Membership is vital to us and everything we do so please keep paying your subscription when it falls due. For less than the cost of a pint of beer your subscription will keep you in touch with what we do on behalf of the woods and the community, good value we hope, even in a recession!

Yours sincerely

Edmund Hopkins
Secretary
Friends of Colwick Woods
