We have been advised by Cllr David Mellen that Network Rail contractors will be working in the Woods from Monday 1st February because they need to carry out urgent repairs to the cliff face that sits just above the railway line.[/fusion_text][/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]

Nottingham City Council, in conjunction with Age UK, have produced a lovely illustrated pamphlet of a four mile (two hours) walks from Green’s Windmill to Colwick Woods and back.

One of our members is currently working on a short film project that focuses on the ancient woodland of Colwick woods. For this project they will be shooting footage of the flora and fauna of the woods, but they are asking if people have any footage of the following, could they send it to katie.natureinnottingham@gmail.com to help bring the film together. Any footage shot on camera or smartphone at Colwick woods would be suitable, and preferably in landscape mode.
